As part of my Collector’s Sale, I’m piloting an experiment: collectors can exchange gift cards from participating local businesses and organizations for original artwork, either in full or as part of a partial exchange.

Below you'll find a collection of people and places that nourish my creative life. Some have been part of my life for years. Others represent the kinds of communities and experiences I want to cultivate more of in the years ahead. Many are independently owned, deeply rooted in community, and committed to giving back in meaningful ways.

If a piece of my art is calling to you, perhaps there's a way for that exchange to nourish more than one creative ecosystem!

How it works

Browse the businesses and organizations below, then contact me to discuss the artwork you’re interested in and a possible full or partial exchange. Partial exchanges can combine gift cards with traditional payment.

Please wait until we’ve confirmed the arrangement before purchasing any gift cards, memberships, or services.

Traditional purchases remain available throughout the sale.

Local Businesses I love

Nourish

Avenue N - This was the very first place where I took myself out to dinner. I can still remember how anxious and awkward it felt to choose to leave my phone in the car- and how by the end of the meal, it felt like something had shifted! This incredible restaurant is a place where I love to treat myself on special occasions. I love their commitment to sourcing via local, family-owned farms, and the food is absolutely delicious! Every time I’m there, I’m greeted with a smile, and all I feel is love. Through reflecting on my very first experience at Avenue N, a really sweet article emerged that I’m delighted to share: A Geography of Nourishment.

India Restaurant - Not only is their food delicious and nourishing, this restaurant does so much to give back locally and globally, and it’s why I love supporting them! When you invest in this small business, you’re investing in community.

Seven Stars Bakery - I am so grateful to live within walking distance of this delicious bakery! It’s a wonderful place to be nourished and read or write for extended periods of time and be around people who greet you with a smile and remember your favorite treats. I love that they don’t have wifi!

Swad Nepalese Food - A newer local business in East Providence, the family who owns the restaurant is from Nepal, a country so dear to my heart. Their food is delicious and nutritious, and I’m including them here because I love Nepal, and I want more people to become patrons of this wonderful little restaurant in Riverside, RI.

Wildflour Vegan Bakery - So many inspiring conversations and creative projects have hatched within and around these walls. Rob Yaffee left a lasting impact on me and so, so many people through the presence, care, and heartfelt commitment he brought to serving the greater community through nourishing, healing foods. I love Wildflour not only for the delicious and healthy foods and top-notch vibes, but for their continued commitment to giving back generously to local nonprofits and the greater community.

Grow

Seven Arrows Farm - Miche and Judy are incredible souls, and Seven Arrows is an incredibly special place! Seven Arrows is an enchanting place to peruse and wander- along with a glorious greenhouse and farm animal friends who love to greet visitors, they have a fabulous selection of dried herbs, candles, and gifts that nourish the soul. I’ve tended our garden here in East Providence with plants from their nursery nearly every year since I moved in and started digging up the lawn, lol. They’re also a retail partner of my honeybee notecards!

Seana Zelazo, LICSW - Seana was referred to me through the incredible Seeing With Your Heart network. Her book The Way of Inanna: A Heroine’s Guide to Living Unapologetically has been a game changer for me and has helped inspire my own creative emergence in recent years! I’ve been working with Seana 1:1 since 2023; she has been so incredibly generous and gracious in offering support when and where I’ve most needed it. I’m including Seana in this list mostly because I’d love more folks to get connected with Seana and her book, as well as with Seeing With Your Heart :)

Liz Varney, LICSW - Liz was referred to me through Seana as a potential writing coach! For the last 8 years I have longed for more structured support around my desire to grow as a writer and storyteller- this is one of Liz’s specialties as a fellow intuitive and creativity coach!
